Something to get into a froth about

Nestlé FoodServices is offering mobile caterers a free trial to show that cappuccinos, lattes and mochas are no longer just the domain of specialist coffee shops.

The Nescafé Speciality range enables mobile and event caterers to meet the growing demand for café-style coffees and to benefit from profitable margins - which the company claims can be in excess of £1 per cup - without having to invest in specialist equipment.

Says the company's Katy Hilditch: "Creating an authentic, frothy cappucino couldn't be simpler. Café culture arrives as soon as the kettle is boiled."

Suitable for any site where storage space is limited, the Nescafé Cappuccino, Latté and Mocha lines are now available in 500g tins - rather than the larger 750g version - although they still produce about 27 cups of coffee.

The range can also be obtained in individual serve sachets, ideal for operators requiring a lower volume of speciality coffee to satisfy demand.
